Bear watching from hide

In the mossy pine forest with large boulders, a bear can pop up at any time. You are safe in the hide, which is on a small hill and has views in three directions.

Out in the wilderness is a purpose-built forest cabin where both bears and other animals are seen on many occasions.

In the afternoon we gather at the Wild Nordics Gallery. A filling sandwich is served and we go through all the practical information. After transport by car, we go a short distance through the woods. The guide will show you the way into the hide, and on your own, you begin the exciting scouting.

Besides bears, great spotted woodpecker, grey-headed woodpecker and the jay often turn up.
Sometimes a buzzard or goshawk may even land. A fox could tiptoe past and sometimesthe badger shows up. Great tit, blue tit, nuthatch, tree creeper,
chaffinch, brambling, robin and willow tit are also continuous guests.

The hide contains windows / photo openings and large bunk beds with pillows and blankets and a simple toilet.
Bears hover 20-30 meters from the hide (at the closest 6-7 metres). For photography use a 100-500 mm lens. It is of course also possible to use simple cameras with shorter focal length, then you take photos through the windows. There are bean bags for your camera in the hide.

In the morning you are picked up by the guide and a buffet breakfast is served in the gallery.
Maybe you've been awake all night and need a rest before the journey home. You are welcome to use one of our guest rooms.

To consider:

- Do not take things with rustling packaging (eg, chip bags).
- Repack such things in lunch boxes / plastic boxes.

- No strong perfumes / detergent or other strong scents. Preferably come "neutral".

The hide has 4 seats.

This activity is done on nature's terms and there is no guarantee of what we will see / hear / experience.
