Hiking tour looking at the oldest pine in Sweden
Enjoy a hiking tour to the oldest pine in Sweden - approx. 750 years old. The tour is 4 km in the
nature reserve North Hornlsandet. Approx 4 hours.
The activity must be booked 2 days before day of setting and group minimum 4 adults (payment).
Information
The Eco-park of Hornslandet is a peninsula which was a small island in the early days. The interesting environment is a result of the a big forest fire in 1888 and the nature is preservede in several nature reservations. The Eco-park was established by Svea Skog in 2004. Both white-tailed eagle, rare woodpeckers and the lady´s slipper can be seen here. During the tour we stop by an enchanted small lake, "fika" at Nicklas Tea House, before reaching the old pine.
Equipment of your own such as walking shoes, water, rucksack and "clothes after weather" is required. And don´t forget to bring your own "fika".
