Lynäs Summer Home

Lynäs summer home, camp site located by lake Bergviken. The facilities is run by the Uniting Church in Sweden and offers religious services, outdoor life, lodging and swimming. The summer home is completely non-profit and under Christian direction.

Information

Alcohol is completely forbidden in all areas. Smoking is not allowed indoors.

The facility is located near two mountains, Mount Gullberg and Mount Trollberg. Trollberg in particular is a popular hiking destination with a breathtaking view. On the southern side of the mountain there is a fascinating block terrain, a remnant from the ice age, which amuses both the young and the old. Gullberg features a large pepple field also deposited by the ice. The top of the mountain was the only one in the area not covered by water after the end of the ice age.

The site is located 20 km outside of Söderhamn by lake Bergviken.

There is a beach for swimming and courts for football and volleyball.

7 cottages of 4-8 beds each, starting from 300:-/day.
10 trailer places, starting from 100:-/day excluding electricity.
Tents, starting from 50:-/day

Café with self-service. 70 indoor seats and 70 outdoor seats: open in connection with events.
